DRT’s Improv Troupe is a year-round group that meets once a week. We will have three 8-week sessions, and while we hope you’ll join us for the whole year, the beginning of each session is a great time to hop on board! Improv troupe will focus on building a tight and powerful ensemble of actors who excel in communication, generosity, and collaboration. We will discuss and develop the principles of improvisation, character development, story-building, and much, much more. While this all sounds very serious, the beauty of improv is that you can do all of these things while playing ridiculous games and laughing a lot! Each session will culminate in a showcase of our favorite games. This group is recommended for those with prior theater experience. Led by Maren Langdon Spillane
